Out with a glam! Desperate Housewives mark their eighth and final season with a sexy and seductive photo shoot

Tears were shed and fans left dismayed when it was announced that the upcoming eighth series of Desperate Housewives would be the last.
But those Desperate Housewives that we have come to love over the past eight years are determined not to go quietly - and we're not just talking about an explosive storyline.
Because the ladies of Wisteria Lane are making sure that this final season will be the sexiest ever, certainly if this promotional photo shoot is anything to go by.

Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Teri Hatcher and Vanessa Williams look gorgeous and seductive as they posed for the camera in short sexy dresses that show off their not-your-average housewife figures to perfection.
Eva, 36, who plays former model and mum-of-two Gabrielle Solis, looked sensational in a Grecian style pleated dress with a very plunging neckline, teamed with towering gold shoes with eye-watering heels.

Felicity Huffman, 48, who plays interior designer and long-suffering mother and wife Lynette Scavo, certainly doesn't look like she should be portraying a mother of five, her toned and curvy figure set off by a tight cream and bronze striped dress.
Teri Hatcher, 46, who plays plumber's wife Susan Delfino, seductively reclines on a chaise longue in a slinky cream dress for the shoot, while Marcia Cross, 49, who plays domestic goddess Bree Van de Kamp, sits on the other side of her in a clingy silver halterneck dress, setting off her red hair beautifully.

And last but not least is Vanessa Williams a newcomer to the street last season in the shape of Lynette's old college roommate Renee Perry, who looks much younger than her 48 years in a metallic bodycon dress.
It's certainly been a hell of a ride forthe housewives over the past eight years, with suicides, murder, affairs, cancer, alcoholism, infidelity and prejudice playing huge factors in their daily lives.

The women returns to US screens at the end of this month, and is expected to be broadcast in the UK early next year.
The season will pick up where the last one left off which saw the ladies come together to cover-up the murder of Gabrielle's abusive step-father.
