As befitting her 14 years, the 5ft9 brunette shunned towering Louboutin heels, and opted instead for scruffy lace up boots.

In fact, the only nod to the Kardashian gravy train, upon which Kylie is about to jump in earnest with a controversial appearance on the catwalk, is the black Hermes bag the youngster was sporting for her trip.

She's already modelled for prom dress favourite Sherri Hill with her sister Kendall, in addition to posing for shoots for Teen Vogue and OK!
However, the Kardashian machine is under fire for allowing Kylie to make her runway debut at such a tender age.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America has recently issued new guidelines that recommend models have ID checks before walking the runway, to ensure they are at least16.
Many in the industry believe that 14 is too young to debut, though Kylie's first appearance is being carefully executed by her brother Brody Jenner, who set up the gig with his singer girlfriend, Lavigne.
And of course, her indomitable motherKris Jenner, 55 , has her keen eye on proceedings, though she won't be in New York for the show.
Kris arrived back in LA today, crossing paths with her daughter after a visit to the East Coast, where daughters Kim, 30 , and Kourtney, 32 , are currently in residence.
And in what was either a coincidence, a subtle indicator of changing Kardashian tastes or an act of mother-daughter prescience, Kris was dressed eerily like Kylie.

Sporting a black leather jacket, black jeans and lace up boots - though again fittingly - hers were smart, Kris also cradled a Hermes bag, this time in red.
The hands-on mother smiled from behind bug-eyed shades, a nod to her elder daughters rather than echoing Kylie'sRay-Bans, as she arrived home.
She's perhaps relieved that Kylie's 15-year-old sister Kendall turned down a $20,000 appearance at the NYC Fashion's Night Out in favour of attending essential lessons at her Los Angeles school.
Sources told the New York Post that mom Kris Jenner is adamant that Kendall focus on school and finish her studies.
