Forgetting Vince! Jessie Wallace flees to Crete honeymoon hotel with male companion instead

She was rumoured to be meeting her ex-fiancé in Crete to hold relationship crisis talks, but yesterday Jessie Wallace fled to their Greek honeymoon resort without him.

Instead of Vince Morse joining her at the hotel, the EastEnders star arrived at Gatwick airport with a male friend as her companion instead.

The 39-year-old hid her pain under a pair of oversized sunglasses as she strolled through the airport in a ruffled grey dress and plenty of luggage.

She has reportedly taken a month off work to mend her broken heart abroad, after calling off her wedding on Monday.

Jessie was left humiliated when it was revealed that Vince, 50, had sent an explicit picture of the star to one of his ex-girlfriends.

But as she tried to put the fiasco behind her, Jessie strutted through Gatwick’s Duty Free stores, where she bought a bottle of perfume before boarding her easyJet flight to Crete.

Once on the flight, she is said to have ordered three double vodkas and a double brandy, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

But a source told the tabloid that she kept her shades on during the entire journey to keep a low profile in the back of the plane.

BBC sources also told the newspaper that her EastEnders bosses are expected to agree to her requested leave on top of her original honeymoon holiday so she can sort out her personal life.

And as Jessie plans to lick her wounds in Crete, her ex-fiancé is still staying at his friend Tony Tuman’s home in Ibiza.

Meanwhile, the woman who Vince sent the X-rated photograph of Jessie to has written an apology to the actress.

Karen Short exposed the snap to the Daily Star Sunday and told the tabloid that her ex-boyfriend allegedly tried to arrange a threesome with Jessie a month ago.

MsShort told the newspaper: ‘I appreciate by saying this it might make Jessie even more angry but I want her to know that as a single mum I canunderstand what she has gone through.

‘Ifeel absolutely terrible that her wedding has been broken off. I know this must be hugely embarrassing for her and I am terribly sorry the image got out there.

‘I hope she can accept my apologies… I never meant for this to happen.’

Jessie is said to have left her six-year-old daughter, Tallulah Lilac, with family members while she is abroad.

Today the Mail on Sunday revealed that Morse’s cheating ways had led him to be dumped by two other fiancées before Jessie.

His first wife, Virginia Lewis, who he married in 1992 and whom has two children with, has spoken out about Vince and alleges that he has never been faithful to one woman.

‘In the 20 years I’ve known him, he’s never been faithful to one woman.

‘I know because he rang me up to boast about the new women in his life and how he’s cheating on them, even after we split.’

Virginia also warned Jessie through the press that he’s a ‘serial cheat’ and told the Sunday Mirror: ‘Don’t let him back into your life.’
