BRITISH stars brought a touch of the English rose to Italy yesterday at the Venice Film Festival.

Kiera Knightley, 26, looked angelic in a gold embroidered floor-length gown as she promoted her new film, A Dangerous Method.
She had earlier wowed the crowds in a striking £1,600 print dress by Greek designer Mary Katrantzou.

But Keira had some stiff competition from Kate Winslet who showed off her curves in a sexy, figure-hugging dress.
The 35-year-old fled Sir Richard Branson’s Caribbean home as it burnt down just two weeks ago.
