Lucky Alex was clearly in for a treat,as cricket boutique owner Justine Mills also showed up bearing what looked like a pretty hefty stack of presents for the model.
Alex is due in nine weeks, so Sheree, who is a few months behind her friend, was no doubt keen to compare notes.
This is 35-year-old Sheree's fourth pregnancy and Alex's third, so both should know exactly what to expect.
Still, there was no doubt that the girly atmosphere was exactly what Sheree was in the mood for.
'Just been at a babyshower all day...had such a lovely girlie day. Haven't laughed so much in ages!' she tweeted later that evening.

Those killer heels apparently took their toll though, since she added: 'I am so tired today...had such a lovely time yesterday at a friends babyshower...I had heels on all day and my feet are still numb :('
The star and her husband Liverpool player Harry Kewell are expecting the new arrival in January to join their children Taylor, 10, Ruby eight and Matilda, three.
The proud mother has always had big babies, as Sheree described on Twitter: 'good sizes..my 1st was 9lbs 4 then the next two were 8lbs 12 and 8lbs 8 but they were both induced 2weeks early!!'
