The 7 Steps of analysis

  1. The distance - Estimating the distance gives information on the degree of sympathy.
  2. The head position - A bowed head shows sympathy and honesty. Lower the head is withdrawn. It takes a step back.
  3. The glance - We can read everything in the glance. The liar makes return trip to watch your reaction. The look elsewhere shows that thought too. For some cultures, eye contact is rude, provocative.
  4. Imitation - Imitation is a sign of gratitude and sympathy. If your partner has actions that mimic your own, that he esteems you. If his position is reversed, it is rather in opposition.
  5. The arms and hands - The folded arms are sign of closure, but also want to hide a body complexed. The arms behind his head instead shows an openness to discussion. Hands in his pockets are sign of loosening, but it may just be cold.
  6. The nervous gestures - Put your hair back or put his glasses in place, is not a harmless act. It shows their agreement or disagreement. But again, the reason may simply be that the glasses are falling.
  7. The feet - We finished the lower body. Feet that move shows some nervousness. Unless the movements are slow, then the distraction or boredom.
