'I knew that if we didn't have the sex we might as well call it a day', Mark Wright reveals why he split with Lauren Goodger

Mark Wright has said he knew he would have to split up with his fiancée, Lauren Goodger, after their sex life took a turn for the worse.
The wide eyed boy from Essex has gained a reputation for being a ladies man but Mark insists that he never cheated on his childhood sweetheart during their engagement.
After a ten-year relationship the pair have finally called time on their rocky relationship with Mark declaring the writing was on the wall when he no longer wanted sex with Lauren.

He told the Sunday Mirror: 'As soon as our sex life started to fizzle, I knew that if we didn't have the sex we might as well call it a day.'

Mark, 24, says that he and Lauren have always had a strong, intense sexual attraction to one another but for almost the last two months the pair haven't slept together once.
Lauren has moved out of the trendy Essex flat that the couple once shared after Mark dumped her due to claims the 24-year-old had cheated on him.

The alleged infidelity happened whilst Mark was on holiday in Marbella and Lauren was out with friends in a Essex hotspot.
He told the newspaper: 'Loads of my friends were in the club that night. I came out of a meeting and I had seven missed calls. I knew something had gone on. I went out to the pool and I just cried.'
After the heartbreaking news Mark sought solace with best friend and TOWIE co-star James 'Arg' Argent.
The lads, who have a strong 'bromance' on the TV show, talked about how Mark felt in what they call an 'emosh' and Mark decided to call off his engagement to Lauren and end their decade-long affair.

However, the drama hasn't ended and the ex lovers seem destined to keep crossing paths.
Following an evening at the MOBO Award nominations launch party, Lauren enlisted the company of TOWIE co-star Lauren Pope for a single girls' night at Aura club in Mayfair.
But the girls narrowly avoided a showdown as Mark had chosen the same London club for his boys' night out.

And as soon as he heard his ex, who he has not seen since last week's split, was in the same building, he apparently called on security and demanded she be told to leave.
A spokesperson for Lauren confirmed the incident and told MailOnline: 'Lauren was asked to leave Aura, at Mark's request, after two hours of being there.'
Mark also claims that he never once told Lauren to lose weight despite his ex claiming that he would compare her to the show's other slim female stars, such as Amy Childs.

He said: 'If I didn't like her body, why would I stay with her for 10 years? Why did I propose to her? I found her beautiful and I still do.'
Despite the alleged betrayal Mark isn't looking for a new relationship and says he wants to stay single for a while to get over Lauren, although seeing her even holding hands with a new guy would 'kill' him.
